Student Name: Zaid

• Bio: Hi my name is Zaid, I enjoy soccer, basketball, video games and working with computers. My favorite color is orange and favorite food is pizza. I really enjoy social studies and literature as my favorite subject and can’t wait to start this project.
• Previous Knowledge/Opinions Prior to the Project: The Holocaust started when Hitler came to power in 1933. He slowly took away the Jews' freedom until the camps were set up [Final Solution]. He thought that Jews, Catholics, disabled, children, elderly were weak and “unfit” to work so they were sent to camps for hard labor.
• Thoughts About the Project on Day 1: I really want to start this project. Having read 12 pages so far I think the book will be enjoyable and suspenseful.
