“A disciplined group with goal can take action to achieve it. They must take action to achieve it.” - Mr. Ross, pg. 65, The Wave.
A disciplined group that has a goal must take action to achieve it. That is what the wave had taught Mr.Ross’s social studies class. I do most agree with this quote, it is true that a disciplined group must take action to achieve their goal, without action their goal is incomplete and useless. A disciplined group may have a leader giving orders and pointing people towards their ways which I do not totally agree with, people should have their own say in many things. I think that The Wave students were disciplined so that they followed Ben’s orders. Do you think a disciplined group is the only way to take action to achieve a goal?
Hitler had a disciplined party in order to function and carry out his devious plans. Hitler Could not have been able to to carry out his evil plans against the Jews. If the Nazi’s weren't disciplined they most likely wouldn't have done mass murders of the Jews. In most families kids are disciplined to know what’s right from wrong, if they've done something wrong a punishment will be given by their parents to make sure they know that the act they’ve done is bad. Hitler acted the same way, he would discipline the Nazis enough so that they would follow his ways and do everything his way. He had a disciplined party which allowed him to achieve his goals. In the end this quote does state that you must have a disciplined group in order to function and reach your goals. Do you agree?
