I disliked the book The Wave. It did have a good ending with the video of Hitler but besides that it was boring. The book moved very slow and wasn’t fun to read. I think that it does teach a good lesson though. if the book would have had more action and been more entertaining then e think that I would have liked it a lot more. I think that a major theme throughout the entire book was bystander. The wave wouldn't have been started if everyone wasn’t a bystander and conformed to what Mr. Ross wanted. Overall the book taught a good lesson but in an unappealing way.
From The Wave I learned that it is very easy to conform to something. I found it very interesting how easy it was for the kids to join the Wave. I think from blogging I learned how to type better. I also am better with my grammar now after blogging. i think that this is important for kids and teens to be a part of this activity because it shows how you have to stand up for what you believe in. The Wave show us that it was so easy to conform and we have to think for ourselves.
